귀로만(Gwiroman, 이하 “서비스”)은 앱과 웹사이트(gwiroman.com)를 이용하는 분의 개인정보를 관련 법령에 따라 처리합니다. 이 방침은 무엇을 수집하고, 어디에 쓰고, 누구에게 맡기며, 언제 삭제하는지 설명합니다.

1. 수집하는 개인정보

• 계정 정보: 이메일 주소, 비밀번호(암호화해 저장), 로그인 방식. Google 로그인 시 Google 계정 식별자·이름·프로필 사진, Apple 로그인 시 Apple 계정 식별자·이메일(이메일 가리기 주소일 수 있음)·이름
• 학습 콘텐츠: 사용자가 입력·생성한 대본과 문장, 번역문, 업로드한 오디오 파일, 입력한 유튜브 주소, 만들어진 음성 파일, 재생·학습 설정
• 학습 기록: 문장별 청취 횟수와 학습 단계(L·S·M), 콘텐츠 이용 기록, 생성·번역 추가·도우미 이용 횟수
• 기기·접속 정보: 기기 식별자(Android ID 또는 iOS 공급업체 식별자), 기기 모델·OS 버전, 앱 버전·플랫폼, 접속 IP 주소, 브라우저·앱 정보(User-Agent), 마지막 접속 시각
• 결제 정보: 구독 상품, 구매 토큰, 만료일. 카드 번호 등 결제 수단 정보는 Google Play·App Store가 처리하며 서비스는 받지 않습니다
• 문의·피드백: 피드백 내용, 첨부 이미지, 이메일, 기기 정보(플랫폼·OS·앱 버전)
• 커뮤니티(웹): 작성한 글·댓글, 작성자 표시 이름(표시 이름이 없으면 이메일 주소가 작성자로 표시됩니다), 프로필 사진
• Gwiroman 도우미 대화: 앱 안 도우미에 보낸 메시지와 답변. 기본적으로 서버에 저장하지 않습니다(아래 4·5항)
• OPIc 맞춤 답변: OPIc 실전 콘텐츠를 내 상황에 맞게 바꿀 때 입력한 답(하는 일, 사는 곳, 경험 등). 다음에 다시 쓸 수 있도록 로그인한 계정별로 사용자 기기에만 저장되고 서버에는 저장되지 않으며, 앱에서 언제든 지울 수 있습니다. 맞춤으로 만든 콘텐츠는 내 콘텐츠로 저장됩니다
• 게스트(로그인 없이 사용): 서버 계정을 만들지 않으며, 콘텐츠 받기 횟수 확인을 위해 기기 식별자 기반 값만 저장합니다

서비스는 국가·나이·모국어 정보를 따로 수집하지 않습니다.

2. 수집 방법

• 회원가입·로그인(이메일, Google, Apple), 앱·웹 이용 과정에서 사용자가 직접 입력하거나 자동으로 생성
• 앱이 서버에 요청을 보낼 때 기기·접속 정보가 함께 전송

3. 이용 목적

• 회원 식별, 로그인 유지, 이메일 인증·비밀번호 재설정·계정 삭제 확인 메일 발송
• 학습 콘텐츠 생성·번역·음성 합성·저장·동기화, 학습 진행 관리
• 구독 확인과 이용 한도(하루 생성 횟수 등) 관리
• 부정 이용 방지(탈퇴 후 재가입으로 무료 한도를 반복 사용하는 행위 확인), 보안·장애 대응
• 문의 응대, 서비스 개선, 오류 분석
• 광고 표시(무료 이용자, 아래 7항)

4. 처리 위탁 및 국외 이전

서비스는 아래 업체에 처리를 맡깁니다. 해외 업체로는 기능을 이용하는 시점에 네트워크로 전송되며, 보관 기간은 각 업체 정책을 따릅니다. AI 생성·번역·도우미 기능에 입력한 내용은 해당 기능을 처리하기 위해 아래 AI 업체로 전송됩니다.

국외 이전을 원하지 않으면 해당 기능(AI 생성·번역·도우미·유튜브 가져오기 등)을 이용하지 않거나 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 이 경우 일부 기능을 쓸 수 없습니다.

5. 제3자 제공과 공개

• 서비스는 4항의 처리 위탁 외에 개인정보를 제3자에게 팔거나 제공하지 않습니다. 법령에 따라 요구되는 경우는 예외입니다
• 커뮤니티에 쓴 글과 댓글은 다른 이용자에게 공개되며, 작성자 표시 이름(없으면 이메일 주소)이 함께 보입니다
• OPIc 맞춤 답변은 대본을 만드는 데만 서버를 거치며 서버에 저장하지 않습니다. 입력한 답은 계정별로 사용자 기기에만 남고, 앱에서 언제든 지우거나 앱을 삭제하면 함께 지워집니다
• Gwiroman 도우미 대화는 서버에 저장하지 않습니다. 다만 서비스 품질 점검을 위해 운영자가 지정한 운영자 본인 계정의 대화만 30일간 저장합니다

6. 보유 기간과 파기

• 계정을 삭제하면 계정 정보, 학습 콘텐츠와 학습 기록, 서버에 저장된 음성·오디오 파일을 바로 삭제합니다. 앱의 설정 화면 또는 계정 삭제 페이지에서 요청할 수 있고, 계정은 유지한 채 일부 데이터만 지우려면 데이터 삭제 페이지를 이용합니다
• 계정 삭제 후에도 보관하는 정보 — 부정 이용 방지·분쟁 대응을 위해 아래 정보는 삭제 후에도 보관합니다. 현재 별도 보관 기한이 없으며, 삭제를 원하면 7항 연락처로 요청할 수 있습니다
  • 탈퇴 기록: 이메일, 소셜 계정 식별자, 마지막 기기 식별자, 이용 횟수, 탈퇴 일시
  • 기기별 이용 기록(기기 식별자·이메일·이용 횟수)
  • 삭제한 콘텐츠의 보관본, 보낸 피드백과 첨부 이미지, 커뮤니티 글·댓글
• 자동 삭제되는 정보: 구독 기록 1년, 생성·번역 작업 기록 24시간, 업로드 임시 파일 72시간, 접속 제한 기록 수분 이내
• 백업: 장애 복구를 위해 데이터베이스를 매일 백업합니다. 서버의 백업은 14일 후 삭제되지만, 외부 저장소의 백업 사본은 현재 별도 기한 없이 보관되어 삭제한 정보가 과거 백업에 남아 있을 수 있습니다. 백업은 복구 목적으로만 사용합니다
• 파기는 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 데이터베이스 기록과 저장 파일을 지우는 방식으로 합니다

7. 광고

광고는 무료 이용자에게만 Google AdMob 으로 표시되며, 이때 광고 식별자와 기기 정보가 Google로 전송될 수 있습니다. 최신 버전 앱은 베타 테스트 기간이거나 프리미엄 이용자이면 광고 기능 자체를 켜지 않아 광고 관련 정보가 전송되지 않습니다. 그 이전 버전의 앱은 베타 기간에도 광고를 화면에 표시하지는 않지만, 앱이 실행될 때 광고 기능이 초기화되어 위 정보가 전송될 수 있습니다. 기기 설정에서 광고 식별자를 재설정하거나 맞춤 광고를 끌 수 있습니다(Android: 설정 › Google › 광고, iOS: 설정 › 개인정보 보호 및 보안).

8. 쿠키와 기기 저장

• 웹사이트는 로그인 유지를 위해 세션 쿠키(1시간)와 로그인 토큰 쿠키를 사용합니다. 분석·추적 도구(Google Analytics 등)는 쓰지 않습니다
• 웹사이트에 삽입된 유튜브 영상과 스토어 배지 이미지는 해당 업체의 쿠키나 요청을 일으킬 수 있습니다
• 앱은 로그인 토큰과 기기 식별자를 기기의 보안 저장소에, 콘텐츠·설정·내려받은 음성을 기기 저장소에 둡니다. 앱을 삭제하면 함께 지워집니다

9. 아동의 개인정보

서비스는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동의 정보가 법정대리인 동의 없이 수집된 사실을 알게 되면 지체 없이 삭제합니다.

10. 이용자의 권리

언제든지 자신의 개인정보를 열람·정정·삭제하거나 처리 정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 앱 안에서 콘텐츠를 지우거나 계정을 삭제할 수 있고, 그 밖의 요청은 아래 연락처로 보내 주시면 지체 없이 처리합니다.

11. 안전성 확보 조치

• 비밀번호는 일방향 암호화(bcrypt)로 저장하고, 로그인 갱신 토큰은 해시로만 저장합니다
• 모든 통신은 HTTPS로 암호화합니다
• 데이터베이스는 외부에서 직접 접근할 수 없게 운영하고, 관리 기능은 지정된 관리자만 쓸 수 있습니다
• 다른 이용자의 콘텐츠에 접근하지 못하도록 요청마다 소유자를 확인합니다

13. 방침의 변경

이 방침이 바뀌면 시행일을 갱신하고 앱 또는 웹사이트에 알립니다.

Privacy Policy

Gwiroman (“the Service”) processes the personal information of people who use the app and the website (gwiroman.com) as described below: what we collect, why, who processes it for us, and when it is deleted.

1. Information we collect

• Account: email address, password (stored hashed), sign-in method. With Google sign-in: Google account ID, name, profile picture. With Apple sign-in: Apple account ID, email (may be a private relay address), name
• Learning content: scripts and sentences you enter or generate, translations, audio files you upload, YouTube links you enter, generated audio, playback settings
• Learning records: listen counts and stages (L/S/M) per sentence, usage counts for generation, translation and the assistant
• Device and access data: device identifier (Android ID or iOS identifierForVendor), device model and OS version, app version and platform, IP address, User-Agent, last activity time
• Purchases: subscription product, purchase token, expiry date. Card and payment details are handled by Google Play and the App Store; we do not receive them
• Feedback: your message, attached images, email, device info (platform, OS, app version)
• Community (web): posts and comments, the author display name (your email address is shown if you have no display name), profile picture
• Gwiroman Assistant: messages you send and the replies. Not stored on our servers by default (see 4 and 5)
• OPIc personalization answers: what you enter to tailor OPIc practice content to your situation (your work, where you live, experiences). Saved only on your device, per signed-in account, so you can reuse them next time; never stored on our servers, and you can delete them in the app at any time. The tailored content is saved as your own content
• Guest use: no server account; only a value derived from the device identifier is stored to count sample downloads

We do not collect your country, age or native language.

2. How we collect it

When you sign up or sign in (email, Google, Apple), when you use the app or website, and automatically with each request the app sends to our servers.

3. Why we use it

• Identify you, keep you signed in, send verification, password-reset and deletion-confirmation emails
• Generate, translate, voice, store and sync your learning content and track your progress
• Check subscriptions and enforce usage limits (such as daily generations)
• Prevent abuse (re-registering to reuse free limits), security and incident response
• Answer inquiries, improve the Service, analyze errors
• Show ads to free users (see 7)

4. Processors and international transfers

We use the processors below. Data sent to processors outside Korea is transferred over the network when you use the feature, and kept according to each provider’s policy. What you enter into AI generation, translation or the assistant is sent to the AI providers below to process that request.

If you do not want these transfers, you can avoid the related features (AI generation, translation, assistant, YouTube import) or delete your account; some features will then be unavailable.

5. Sharing and public content

• We do not sell or provide personal information to third parties beyond the processors in 4, except where required by law
• Community posts and comments are visible to other users together with the author display name (or email address if there is none)
• OPIc personalization answers pass through our servers only to write the script and are not stored there. The answers you enter stay on your device, per account, until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app
• Assistant conversations are not stored, except that conversations of an operator-designated operator account are kept for 30 days for quality review

6. Retention and deletion

• When you delete your account, we immediately delete your account data, learning content and records, and the audio stored on our servers. Request it in the app’s settings or on the account deletion page; to delete only some data, use the data deletion page
• Kept after account deletion — to prevent abuse and handle disputes we keep the following after deletion. There is currently no fixed retention period; you can ask us to delete it (contact in 12)
  • Deletion record: email, social account ID, last device identifier, usage counts, deletion time
  • Per-device usage record (device identifier, email, usage count)
  • Archived copies of deleted content, feedback you sent and its images, community posts and comments
• Deleted automatically: subscription logs after 1 year, generation and translation task records after 24 hours, temporary uploads after 72 hours, rate-limit records within minutes
• Backups: the database is backed up daily for disaster recovery. Backups on the server are deleted after 14 days, but off-site backup copies currently have no fixed expiry, so deleted data may remain in older backups. Backups are used only for recovery

7. Advertising

Ads are shown only to free users, through Google AdMob, which may receive the advertising ID and device information. The latest app version does not start the ad SDK at all during the beta period or for Premium users, so no ad-related data is sent. Earlier app versions do not show ads during the beta period, but initialize the ad SDK at launch and may send that data. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

8. Cookies and on-device storage

• The website uses a session cookie (1 hour) and a sign-in token cookie. We use no analytics or tracking tools such as Google Analytics
• The embedded YouTube video and store badge images may cause requests or cookies from those providers
• The app keeps sign-in tokens and the device identifier in the device’s secure storage, and content, settings and downloaded audio in app storage; they are removed when you uninstall the app

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 14. If we learn that we collected information from a child under 14 without guardian consent, we delete it promptly.

10. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal information or ask us to stop processing it at any time. Delete content or your account in the app, or contact us for anything else.

11. Security

• Passwords are stored with one-way hashing (bcrypt); refresh tokens are stored only as hashes
• All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS
• The database is not reachable from the internet, and admin functions are limited to designated administrators
• Every request is checked for content ownership so users cannot access each other’s content
