이 약관은 귀로만(Gwiroman, 이하 “서비스”)의 앱과 웹사이트(gwiroman.com)를 이용하는 조건을 정합니다. 서비스를 설치하거나 이용하면 이 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다. 동의하지 않으면 서비스를 이용하지 마세요. 개인정보 처리는 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.

1. 서비스 내용

서비스는 문장을 듣고 따라 말하며 외국어를 익히는 학습 앱입니다. 주요 기능은 다음과 같습니다.

• 대본을 직접 입력하거나 AI로 만들어 원문·번역 음성이 있는 학습 콘텐츠 만들기
• 유튜브 영상 주소나 오디오 파일로 학습 콘텐츠 만들기
• 서비스가 제공하는 학습 콘텐츠(「Gwiroman 콘텐츠」: 뉴스, 교과, 명언, OPIc 등) 받기
• OPIc 실전 콘텐츠를 내 상황에 맞게 바꾸기, 번역 추가, Gwiroman 도우미(AI 안내)
• 듣기·따라 말하기 훈련, 학습 기록과 단계 관리, 웹사이트의 커뮤니티

2. 계정과 게스트 이용

• Google 계정, Apple 계정 또는 이메일·비밀번호로 가입할 수 있습니다. 계정 정보를 정확히 입력하고, 비밀번호와 로그인 정보는 직접 관리해야 합니다
• 로그인하지 않고 게스트로도 이용할 수 있습니다. 게스트의 콘텐츠와 기록은 그 기기에만 저장되며, 앱을 삭제하면 사라질 수 있습니다. 게스트에게는 일부 기능(콘텐츠 생성, 도우미 등)이 제한되고, 로그인하면 기기의 콘텐츠를 계정으로 옮길 수 있습니다
• 만 14세 미만은 서비스를 이용할 수 없습니다
• 한 사람이 이용 한도를 피하려고 여러 계정을 만들거나, 탈퇴와 재가입을 반복해 무료 한도를 다시 쓰는 것은 허용되지 않습니다

3. 유료 서비스(구독)와 베타 기간

• 서비스는 무료 이용과 유료 구독(프리미엄)을 제공할 수 있습니다. 구독은 Google Play 또는 App Store에서 결제되고, 해지하기 전까지 정해진 주기로 자동 갱신됩니다
• 구독 해지와 환불은 결제한 스토어의 계정 설정과 정책에 따릅니다. 다만 관련 법령이 이용자에게 보장하는 청약철회·환불 등의 권리는 이 약관으로 제한되지 않습니다
• 베타 기간: 현재 서비스는 베타 테스트 중이며, 이 기간에는 프리미엄 구독 판매를 멈추고 기능을 무료로 제공합니다(광고도 표시하지 않습니다). 베타 기간이 끝나기 전에 앱 또는 웹사이트에서 미리 알립니다
• 구독 가격과 혜택은 바뀔 수 있으며, 바뀌면 미리 알립니다. 이미 결제한 기간에는 영향을 주지 않습니다. 가격 인상 등 이용자에게 불리한 변경은 결제한 스토어가 정한 동의 절차도 함께 따릅니다

4. 이용 한도

• 안정적인 운영과 비용 관리를 위해 하루 콘텐츠 생성 횟수, 도우미 대화 횟수, OPIc 맞춤 횟수, 저장할 수 있는 콘텐츠 수 등에 한도를 둘 수 있습니다. 한도는 무료·프리미엄에 따라 다르고, 앱에 표시되며, 운영 상황에 따라 바뀔 수 있습니다
• 서비스 전체의 AI 이용량이 많을 때는 AI 기능을 잠시 제한할 수 있습니다
• 자동화 도구나 여러 계정으로 한도를 피하는 행위는 금지됩니다

5. AI 기능

• AI 대본 생성·번역, Gwiroman 도우미, OPIc 맞춤은 외부 AI 서비스(OpenAI 등)로 동작합니다. 무엇이 어디로 전송되는지는 개인정보처리방침 4항에 적혀 있고, 도우미·OPIc 맞춤은 처음 쓸 때 앱에서 안내하고 동의를 받습니다
• AI가 만든 대본·번역·답변은 틀리거나 어색할 수 있습니다. 학습에 쓰기 전에 내용을 확인하고 필요하면 고쳐 쓰세요. 서비스는 AI 결과의 정확성이나 특정 시험 점수를 보장하지 않습니다
• AI 기능에 다른 사람의 개인정보, 실명·연락처·주소처럼 나를 알아볼 수 있는 정보, 민감한 정보를 입력하지 마세요
• AI 기능을 법령이나 타인의 권리를 침해하는 내용을 만드는 데 쓰거나, 지시를 조작해 원래 목적과 다르게 쓰는 행위는 금지됩니다

6. 콘텐츠와 권리

• 내가 만든 콘텐츠: 직접 입력한 대본과 내가 만든 학습 콘텐츠의 권리는 이용자에게 있습니다. 서비스는 콘텐츠를 저장·변환(번역·음성 합성)·동기화해 서비스를 제공하는 범위에서만 이용합니다
• Gwiroman 콘텐츠: 서비스가 제공하는 학습 콘텐츠(받은 사본 포함)는 개인 학습 목적으로만 쓸 수 있으며, 다시 배포하거나 상업적으로 이용할 수 없습니다. 뉴스 콘텐츠는 공개된 뉴스의 주제를 바탕으로 학습용으로 새로 쓴 문장이며, 기사 원문을 제공하지 않습니다. 권리자의 요청이 있으면 해당 콘텐츠를 지체 없이 내립니다
• 유튜브·오디오 등 외부 콘텐츠: 유튜브 영상이나 오디오 파일로 콘텐츠를 만들 때는 이용 권한이 있는 콘텐츠만 쓰고, 유튜브 등 해당 플랫폼의 약관과 저작권법을 지켜야 합니다. 만든 콘텐츠는 개인 학습 목적으로만 쓸 수 있으며 다른 사람과 공유하거나 배포할 수 없습니다. 권리 침해 신고가 있거나 플랫폼 정책상 필요하면 해당 콘텐츠를 내리거나 이 기능을 제한·중단할 수 있습니다
• 커뮤니티: 웹사이트 커뮤니티에 쓴 글과 댓글은 다른 이용자에게 공개됩니다. 이 약관이나 법령을 어긴 게시물은 알림 없이 숨기거나 지울 수 있습니다
• 서비스: 앱과 웹사이트의 디자인, 기능, 코드에 대한 권리는 서비스에 있습니다

7. 금지 행위

• 법령 위반, 타인의 권리(저작권 등) 침해, 타인 계정의 무단 사용
• 앱의 역설계·분해, 서버나 네트워크 방해, 허가 없는 자동화 접근(봇·크롤러)
• 이용 한도를 피하기 위한 여러 계정 사용, 탈퇴·재가입 반복, 기기 정보 조작
• 계정이나 로그인 정보를 다른 사람과 공유하는 행위

8. 데이터 이용

서비스는 학습 기록과 이용 정보를 서비스 제공, 이용 한도 관리, 오류 분석, 서비스 개선에 이용하며, 자세한 내용은 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다. 서비스는 이용자의 콘텐츠나 입력 내용으로 자체 AI 모델을 학습시키지 않습니다.

9. 계정 삭제와 이용 제한

• 앱의 설정 화면 또는 계정 삭제 페이지에서 언제든지 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 계정을 삭제하면 계정 정보와 학습 콘텐츠·기록이 삭제되며, 부정 이용 방지 등을 위해 보관하는 정보와 백업은 개인정보처리방침 6항에 따릅니다
• 계정을 삭제해도 스토어 구독은 자동으로 해지되지 않습니다. 결제한 스토어에서 직접 해지해야 합니다
• 이 약관을 어기면 서비스 이용을 제한하거나 계정을 정지·삭제할 수 있습니다. 이때 가능한 한 미리 이유를 알리고, 아래 연락처로 이의를 제기할 수 있도록 합니다. 긴급하거나 불법 행위가 명백한 경우에는 먼저 조치한 뒤 알릴 수 있습니다

10. 서비스의 변경과 중단

서비스는 기능을 바꾸거나 일부 또는 전부를 중단할 수 있습니다. 이용자에게 중요한 변경이나 중단은 앱 또는 웹사이트에서 미리 알립니다. 유료 서비스를 중단하는 경우에는 최소 30일 전에 알리고, 남은 이용 기간은 관련 법령과 결제한 스토어의 정책에 따라 처리합니다.

11. 책임의 제한

• 서비스는 현재 상태 그대로 제공되며, 중단 없는 이용이나 오류가 없음을 보장하지 않습니다
• 서비스는 천재지변, 외부 서비스(스토어·AI·클라우드·유튜브 등)의 장애, 이용자의 귀책 사유로 생긴 손해에 대해 책임지지 않습니다. 다만 서비스의 고의 또는 중대한 과실로 생긴 손해는 예외로 합니다
• 이 조항은 관련 법령이 허용하는 범위에서만 적용되며, 법령상 제한할 수 없는 서비스의 책임까지 면제하지 않습니다

12. 약관의 변경

약관을 바꾸면 시행일과 바뀐 내용을 시행일 7일 전까지 앱 또는 웹사이트에 알리고, 이용자에게 불리한 변경은 30일 전까지 알립니다. 바뀐 약관에 동의하지 않으면 시행일 전까지 이용을 멈추고 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다.

13. 준거법과 분쟁

이 약관은 대한민국 법률에 따릅니다. 서비스 이용과 관련한 분쟁은 먼저 아래 연락처로 문의해 주시면 성실히 협의하며, 소송이 필요한 경우 관할 법원은 민사소송법에 따릅니다.

Terms of Service

These Terms set the conditions for using the Gwiroman app and website (gwiroman.com) (the “Service”). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy. If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version prevails.

1. The Service

Gwiroman is a language-learning app built around listening to sentences and repeating them. Main features:

• Create lessons with original and translation audio from a script you type or generate with AI
• Create lessons from a YouTube link or an audio file
• Download lessons we provide (“Gwiroman content”: news, school subjects, sayings, OPIc and more)
• Tailor OPIc practice content to your situation, add translations, and use Gwiroman Assistant (AI help)
• Listening and shadowing training, learning records and stages, and the website community

2. Accounts and guest use

• You can sign up with Google, Apple, or an email and password. Keep your details accurate and your sign-in credentials safe
• You can also use the Service as a guest without signing in. Guest lessons and records stay only on that device and may be lost if you delete the app. Some features (such as creating content and the assistant) are limited for guests; when you sign in you can move the device’s lessons to your account
• You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service
• Creating several accounts, or deleting and re-creating an account, to get around usage limits is not allowed

3. Subscriptions and the beta period

• We may offer free use and a paid subscription (Premium). Subscriptions are billed through Google Play or the App Store and renew automatically until you cancel
• Cancellations and refunds follow the settings and policies of the store you paid through. Rights that the law guarantees to you, such as withdrawal and refunds, are not limited by these Terms
• Beta period: the Service is currently in beta. During beta we do not sell Premium and offer its features for free (and show no ads). We will announce the end of beta in advance in the app or on the website
• Subscription prices and benefits may change; we will announce changes in advance, and periods you have already paid for are not affected. Unfavorable changes such as price increases also follow the consent process of the store you paid through

4. Usage limits

• To keep the Service stable and costs manageable, we may limit daily content creation, assistant messages, OPIc personalizations, the number of stored lessons and similar. Limits differ for free and Premium users, are shown in the app, and may change
• When overall AI usage is high, AI features may be temporarily limited
• Getting around limits with automation or multiple accounts is prohibited

5. AI features

• AI scripts and translation, Gwiroman Assistant and OPIc personalization run on external AI services (such as OpenAI). What is sent where is described in section 4 of the Privacy Policy; the app explains this and asks for consent the first time you use the assistant or OPIc personalization
• AI-generated scripts, translations and answers can be wrong or unnatural. Review them and edit as needed before studying with them. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI output or any particular test score
• Do not enter other people’s personal data, information that identifies you (real names, contact details, addresses) or sensitive information into AI features
• Do not use AI features to create content that breaks the law or infringes others’ rights, or manipulate instructions to make them do something else

6. Content and rights

• Your content: you keep the rights to scripts you type and lessons you create. We use them only to provide the Service (storing, translating, generating audio and syncing)
• Gwiroman content: lessons we provide (including copies you download) are for personal study only and may not be redistributed or used commercially. News lessons are learning texts newly written on topics from published news; we do not provide the original articles, and we will promptly remove a lesson at the rights holder’s request
• YouTube, audio and other third-party content: use only content you are allowed to use, and follow the platform’s terms (such as YouTube’s) and copyright law. Lessons made this way are for personal study only and may not be shared or distributed. If we receive an infringement report or a platform’s policy requires it, we may remove such lessons or limit or discontinue the feature
• Community: posts and comments on the website community are visible to other users. Posts that break these Terms or the law may be hidden or removed without notice
• The Service: rights in the app and website design, features and code belong to us

7. Prohibited conduct

• Breaking the law, infringing others’ rights (including copyright), or using someone else’s account
• Reverse engineering the app, disrupting our servers or network, or unauthorized automated access (bots, crawlers)
• Using multiple accounts, repeated deletion and sign-up, or tampering with device information to avoid limits
• Sharing your account or sign-in details with others

8. Use of data

We use learning records and usage information to provide the Service, manage limits, analyze errors and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not train our own AI models on your content or what you enter.

9. Account deletion and restrictions

• You can delete your account at any time in the app settings or on the account deletion page. Deleting your account deletes your account data, lessons and records; information kept to prevent abuse and backups are handled as described in section 6 of the Privacy Policy
• Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the store you paid through
• If you break these Terms we may restrict your use or suspend or delete your account. Where possible we will tell you the reason in advance and let you object through the contact below; in urgent cases or clear illegal activity we may act first and then notify you

10. Changes to and suspension of the Service

We may change features or suspend all or part of the Service. We will announce important changes or suspension in advance in the app or on the website. If we discontinue a paid service we will give at least 30 days’ notice, and remaining paid periods are handled under applicable law and the store’s policy.

11. Limitation of liability

• The Service is provided as is; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We are not liable for damage caused by natural disasters, outages of external services (stores, AI, cloud, YouTube and others) or the user’s own fault, except damage caused by our intent or gross negligence
• This section applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not exclude liability that cannot be limited by law

12. Changes to these Terms

When we change these Terms we will announce the effective date and the changes in the app or on the website at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days before for changes that are unfavorable to you. If you do not agree with the new Terms, you can stop using the Service and delete your account before the effective date.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Please contact us first about any dispute and we will try to resolve it in good faith; if court proceedings are needed, jurisdiction follows the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
